Okay! A little more relaxed this week. It entailed…

- Preparing for the seven day song dubstep tutorial

- Ordering a new keyboard stand
- Giving out some of Kieran’s CVs to venues
- a really productive YAWA practice
- Recording a new HGD song (FRICKIN’ HELL it’s catchy!)
- Setting the Interabang Release date!

After 24 videos… it’s me!

I posted my first video on my boyinaband account that actually had me in it this week! I have wanted to do a video blog for quite some time to try and bring together the community a bit and keep people informed about what I’m doing on biab. Check it out:

I tried to add some lolz in there too, since I hate dull video blogs! Or Vlogs as the lazy internet people have shortened it to!

Dubbing the Step.

I’ve finished the song I’ll be making for the Seven Day Song Dubstep tutorial now – It’s so fun! Scratch said it reminded him of a duck waddling along. I said it should be a duck with shades. You can hear for yourself this time next week.

I also posted some cool blogs, including a “Top 10 live electronic music acts” blog which is fun! Check out the video of Hifana on there, they’re amazing! Oh, and DJ Kentaro… in fact, most are really entertaining to watch.

I do so love spending money…

After someone nicked my stand at Kettering I had to fork out £45 to get a stand strong enough to support my case (most couldn’t support its weight!) Gay. Ah well, it’s not like I always have to spend this much money on the band.

Na na why don’t you get a job?!

Kieran went around my local area and posted his CV to a pub down the road, Hoo farm (kinda like a petting zoo/theme park) and a convenience store that he decided he didn’t want to work in 2 seconds after giving in his CV. Hopefully he’ll work in the pub since it’s literally about a 4 minute walk from my house.

Other YAWA funtimes!

We did loads this YAWA practice – burned off EPs to send to radio stations, made a new bio, did some work on the new songs… you can see what else YAWA did in this week’s YAWA update.

Yeah you know that I want you girl…

I love being in a boyband so much. We made our first “Summer Fun” song. It’s called “Sunkissed Girls” and it is so summery that I think I got a tan listening to it. Either that or I still haven’t lost the one from Download festival. But yeah, Scratch is my favourite vocalist in this band now. Can’t wait to show you.

Coming this August…

Check out the Interabang Myspace – I made a snazzy little banner and a blog post saying that we’re coming back! People actually remember us which I was surprised about, and some of them care enough to post comments! Sweet! Can’t wait to show you all the stuff we’ve made!

We also recorded a short video blog with me, Sci and Scratch that SMS will be editing and hopefully I’ll be able to show you next week!
